A Busy Weekend!

This weekend went by in such a blur. We had so much going on and barely any downtime. We started the weekend off with Monster Jam at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore Friday night. We had never been before, so we did not realize how loud it was going to be. Justin plugged his ears during most of it and I had Marcos on my lap with my hands over his ears. They had lots of fun, though, and asked when they could go back.

After not getting home until 11:00 and going to bed around 11:30, I had to get the boys up by 8:00 to get dressed and leave for Mazza Gallerie where we saw an advanced screening of The Lorax in 3D. It was a really good movie and definitely recommended. The boys really like the 3D movies and wearing the glasses.

We got home in time to get ready for a neighbors birthday party. I was extremely tired, though, so I sent my husband with them while I stayed home and took a nap with Carlos. Marcos didn't want to stay at the party for some reason, so my husband took him over to his aunt's house to spend the night. Justin came home from the party at 8:30 and got to bed at 9:30, which was two hours past his normal bed time.

Sunday consisted of going through the house bagging up things to get rid of to put out for Amvets in the morning, as well as cleaning and doing laundry. The boys played outside with the neighborhood kids and then went to Hill's Gym with Justin's cub scout den. They had such a great time they didn't want to leave. They definitely want to go back.

The weekends never seem to be long enough and I can't believe Monday is already here. I'm looking forward to spring break and our annual trip to Ocean City for Easter. It will be Carlos' first time at the beach. I'm also looking forward to the boy's birthdays. I cannot believe Justin will be 7 and Marcos will be 4. Before you know it, they'll be graduating high school.

Well, everyone is asleep, so I guess I better get to bed myself. I've been staying up way too late the past week and have been exhausted during the day. I have to make sure I get enough sleep so I can function normally.
